And in 2003, Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) released publication 3185, Saving Sudden Cardiac Arrest Victims in the Workplace: Automated External Defibrillators (HTML, PDF), to inform employers about the use of automated external defibrillators in the treatment of cardiac arrest at work.
Across the nation, AEDs are being installed in government offices so employees and visitors at government locations will have access to early defibrillation if they suffer SCA.
